Mahesh Sachdeva is the former Executive Director of Indian Oil Corporation
Limited, the largest Indian company by revenue. Mahesh has over 30 years
experience and has held various technical and management positions. As Executive
Director, he oversaw marketing, distribution and infrastructure projects
for the Eastern Region and led a multifunctional and diverse team in their
successful implementation. He managed all P&L responsibility for the entire $3B
operation.
He has proven track record in several areas of management, including
marketing, lubrication & reliability engineering, new business development,
logistics, human resources development, training, project management, safety
administration, conservation of petroleum resources, purchasing , joint ventures
and consultancy.
He has also served on the Board of Directors for Indian Oil Blending
Limited the largest lubricants manufacturing company of India, Asst. CEO &
General Manager (Logistics) of Indo Mobil Ltd., and on the Board of Trustees
for two major Indian shipping ports of Kolkata/Haldia and Paradeep.
Mahesh’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in
Electrical Engineering from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Post Graduate
Diploma in Business Administration from Loyola Institute of Business
Administration , Chennai , Certificate in Financial Planning from Kaplan
University, Iowa. He has attended extensive IndianOil training and Management
Development Programs of Indian Institute of Management , Ahmedabad. He is a
Fellow of Indian Institution of Engineers, Member SAE International, Life
member Tribology Society of India and Life member Indian Society of Analytical
Scientists.
He has also served as chair for SAE Eastern India section for two
consecutive terms and member of executive committee for the Tribology Society
of India.
